What's the Enneagram?

The enneagram is an ancient diagram, originating in the Sufi monasteries of the Far East, which summarizes the labyrinths of the human psyche in nine empirically verifiable enneatypes.

To obtain our enneatype, we must answer a questionnaire of approximately 150 questions and accompany our personal interpretation with that of a specialized Enneagram analyst.

At SCUBASELF™ we have it and we can help you achieve a high analytical level of it. The test results include different percentages or scores of each enneatype, only one of them is predominant. We all have a little of the nine enneatypes and one or two are the ones that stand out the most.

Far from trying to create stereotypes or feed prejudices, the enneagram invites us to transform our interpersonal relationships and to understand our individual psychic structure.

Each of the nine enneatypes combines with the others simultaneously creating eighteen subtypes, two for each enneatype, which are also known as "wings". We could say then, that each enneatype expresses itself differently according to its predominant wing.

ENNEATYPE UNIQUENESS

When we analyze our main enneatype and its predominant wing, we obtain information about:

- Our way of understanding the world or mental model

- Our most automatic emotional management pattern

- The image of ourselves that we project to the world

- Our different possible vocations, talents or innate abilities

- Our relational style, our way of creating and maintaining interpersonal bonds in the short and long term

- Our main internal challenges and our resources to overcome them
